David Dixon Garden Photography

Welcome

It was about 30 years ago that I first became mildly interested in photography. But it was the joining of a camera club that marked the transformation, and it quickly became a passion. Like many others, I spent endless hours in the dark-room working on black and white images, and was rewarded with Associate and Fellowship distinctions in 1990/91.

Whilst a member of the club I became involved in wildlife activities, particularly wild flowers and fungi. Almost inevitably this interest progressed to garden and plant photography, and a move from amateur to professional status. I have a good working relationship with three major picture libraries - two of them for ten years and more. The third is comparatively new, but shows excellent promise. As a result of these contacts, quite a significant number of my pictures have been published in books, magazines, newspapers and greeting cards.
